AMS Virtual Event - Streaming Checklist
AMS VIRTUAL EVENT STREAMING CHECKLIST
LOAD IN/PRE-SHOW - INTERNET
Speed test check (all connected machines) - screen capture on desktop with time stamp
Outgoing stream Test - Platform check
Cradlepoint check (if applicable)
Turn wifi off make sure hard line is plugged in
LOAD IN/PRE-SHOW - EQUIPMENT
Check Power on all devices
On new mac books on the block make sure thunderbolt to pc and presrec are routed properly
Turn AFV on all channels switcher
Power backups ...connected and ON
PRE-SHOW - CAMERAS
All cameras shots acquired
Camera - presenters framed properly
Camera - Audio check for each laptop/presenter
PRE-SHOW - MUSIC (If applicable)
Do you have a playlist?
Is music routed properly
Double check - Is it possible music could accidentally be on top of a presenter?
LOAD IN/PRE-SHOW - WIRECAST
Camera feeds check
Graphics feed check
Audio feed check
Audio routing - check each preset to make sure that audio is only linked to input 1 (embedder)
Encoder settings set to proper platform requirements
Stream Key Info - correct channel?
Record drive check - Clear and Journaled?
Record check - hit record and make sure it’s going to your record drive
Double check Wirecast did not Scramble Decklink inputs
LOAD IN/PRE-SHOW - COMS
COMS info sent to all necessary parties
COMS check
BE CAUTIOUS of CLIENT on COMS
LOAD IN/PRE-SHOW - PLATFORM
Stream correctly displaying on Platform
Test question on webpage ensure it’s going to correct place with correct subject (if applicable)
iFrame test - stream test and then look at the actual page
Tech Support email tested
CDN Cloud Recording - MAKE SURE ON
LOAD IN/PRE-SHOW - PRESENTERS
Remind all Presenters to leave camera on
Remind all Presenters to mute and unmute themselves
Remind Presenters they are not usually on screen unless presenting but maintain "Always On" mentality
Are there backup headshots of each presenter?
Check all screens for mice
LOAD IN/PRE-SHOW - BACKUP
Is there a backup solution?
GO through entire checklist with the backup solution
Complete form with SHOW NAME and TECH NAME
